Iframe Embeds

In order to add iframe embeds to the page, add the Cookie Monster iframe stack (CM iframe) to the correct place on the page where the iframe should appear.

This stack contains various settings for the services and content to be added.

  • Service: YouTube
  • ID: Use the video ID from the YouTube video URL, e.g. 7F5MKaJMxDc from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7F5MKaJMxDc
  • Title: Select a caption for the video
  • Thumbnail: Select a image from the assets as preview image (optional)

Google Maps

  • Service: Google Maps
  • ID: Select the place you want to share in Google Maps, and click on "share". Select "embed a map" and "copy HTML". From the copied HTML code, copy the value of the pb url paramenter (see images below)
  • Title: Select a caption for the map
  • Thumbnail: Select a image from the assets as preview image (optional)

Vimeo

  • Service: Vimeo
  • ID: Use only the video ID from the Vimeo video URL, e.g. 1018833878 from https://vimeo.com/1018833878
  • Title: Select a caption for the video
  • Thumbnail: Select a image from the assets as preview image (optional)

X (Twitter)

  • Service: X
  • ID: Use the post ID from the X post URL, e.g. 1519480761749016577 from https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1519480761749016577
  • Title: Select a caption for the post
  • Thumbnail: Select a image from the assets as preview image (optional)

Facebook

  • Service: Facebook
  • ID: Use the URL Facebook post, e.g. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=501675182627678
  • Title: Select a caption for the post
  • Thumbnail: Select a image from the assets as preview image (optional)

Twitch

  • Service: Twitch
  • ID: If you e.g. want to embed a channel, use channel=, e.g. channel=echo_esports
  • Title: Select a caption for the content to embed
  • Thumbnail: Select a image from the assets as preview image (optional)

Dailymotion

  • Service: Dailymotion
  • ID: Use the video ID from the Dailymotion video URL, e.g. x8mr6q9 from https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8mr6q9
  • Title: Select a caption for the video
  • Thumbnail: Select a image from the assets as preview image (optional)
